I'm a professional software engineer and amateur photographer & cyclist from Enschede, the Netherlands. I have experience with Kotlin, Go, Java and Javascript as well as with React and multiple backend frameworks. My professional experience is in the areas of authentication, authorisation, (web) application security and platform engineering.

Besides writing code I am passionate about application architecture and system design. Including topics such as domain driven design, microservices, cloud-native applications and structural-, behavioural- and communication-patterns between modules within an application as well as in distributed systems.

I am currently employed at the Dutch National Police⁽²⁰²⁴⁾ and previously at Sqills^(2019-2024) & Homey^(2017-2019).
